PRICE REDUCED! For Sale: Roadmaster Tow Defender 4750. Towed Vehicle Protection for Vehicles Being Towed Behind Motorhomes. Protect against road debris being tossed up through the space between the recreational vehicle and the vehicle being towed. The Tow Defender includes an all-weather, heavy-duty screen to deflect rocks, gravel and road debris down and away. Without this protection, damage can be to the vehicle’s finish, headlights and with dings and dents and even broken windshields. Included are the protective fabric, structure for securing the fabric between the two vehicles, 4” hitch receiver extension, Blue Ox tow bars and Blue Ox brackets. Depending on your configuration and how your vehicles are equipped, more parts may be needed (Amazon is a good source). Fully extended, the Tow Defender measures 39” by 73” and is held in place by shock absorbing steel struts. When not in use, the Tow Defender is rolled up against the motor home.
Disclaimer: On a trip, one steel strut fell off and there was minor damage to one end of the netting. The fabric damage has been repaired, and the strut has been replaced.
