Up for sale is a pair of beautiful ColorSync Monitors. Many Apple collectors consider these to be the Holy Grail of Apple CRT History... probably because they are Sony Trinitron based, but also because they have lots of resolution choices and excellent controls through the AppleVision software Monitors and Sound Control Panel. The software based geometry and calibration tools are really cool!
Quadra 700 not included!
The condition of these are Very Good to Excellent... nearly flawless cases. The color shows minimal yellowing. And both display very nice bright and even pictures. Here is the condition breakdown:
Monitor #1: Missing side screw covers. Slight yellowing of buttons on face panel. Perfect glass. Unit has a small operational "glitch" where it blinks for a second, maybe 2 or 3 times an hour. Capacitors? Not sure. If I were going to keep these, I would have them gone through and replace caps on both. But I never did. This unit never fails to work. It just blinks for a second from time to time like it lost the resolution timing and then recaptured it immediately.
Monitor #2: Slight yellowing of buttons on face panel and side screw covers. Slight imperfections in anti-glare coating on glass, including one small nick/scratch you can feel with your fingernail. Does not appear to have any glitches in operation.
Price is firm. Contact me with any questions. I will not ship these. I can drive to meet near Phoenix.
You could make arrangements to have them shipped, but I would need advance payment. And you would need to have a lot of faith in whoever you found to help with that! I have heard the horror stories.
