Position Summary
ZebraScapes Landscaping is seeking an experienced and organized Maintenance, Chemical, Clean-Up & Tree Coordinator to oversee the scheduling, coordination, and operational support of multiple landscape service divisions. This role is responsible for managing daily operations related to landscape maintenance, fertilization and chemical applications, seasonal clean-ups, and tree services while ensuring efficiency, safety, quality control, and excellent customer communication.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Operations Coordination
Coordinate daily and weekly schedules for maintenance crews, chemical technicians, clean-up teams, and tree crews.
Monitor route efficiency and labor utilization to maximize productivity.
Adjust schedules as needed due to weather, staffing, equipment availability, or client priorities.
Ensure crews have accurate job information, maps, materials, and equipment before dispatch.
Maintenance Division Support
Coordinate recurring maintenance services for residential and commercial properties.
Track service completion and ensure work meets ZebraScapes quality standards.
Assist with contract scheduling, renewals, and client service requests.
Chemical & Fertilization Coordination
Schedule fertilizer, weed control, pest control, and turf treatment applications.
Ensure compliance with all chemical handling, licensing, and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of chemical applications and reporting requirements.
Coordinate with licensed applicators and monitor inventory levels.
Clean-Up Services Coordination
Organize spring, fall, storm, and specialty clean-up services.
Coordinate debris removal, hauling schedules, and disposal logistics.
Manage seasonal workload distribution and staffing needs.
Tree Service Coordination
Schedule tree trimming, pruning, removals, stump grinding, and emergency tree services.
Coordinate equipment, subcontractors, and safety requirements for tree operations.
Monitor job progress and communicate scheduling updates with clients and crews.
Client Communication
Serve as a primary contact for clients regarding service schedules, updates, delays, and concerns.
Maintain professional and responsive communication with customers.
Assist in resolving service issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
Maintain accurate job records, routing schedules, and service documentation.
Assist with invoicing coordination, work orders, and change requests.
Track production metrics, job completion, and crew performance.
Support management with operational reporting and workflow improvements.
Safety & Compliance
Promote and enforce company safety standards and procedures.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and chemical application requirements.
Monitor proper equipment use and maintenance coordination.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of scheduling, operations, or coordination experience.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and scheduling software.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Experience in landscaping, lawn care, arboriculture, irrigation, or related industries.
Knowledge of chemical application procedures and safety regulations.
Familiarity with routing, dispatching, or service management software.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Understanding of landscape maintenance practices and tree care operations.
