- Clean, clear title in my name
- Price is firm; not looking for trades or trade-ins.
- Mostly original, very low hour bike (~30-40) that has never been raced, abused, or neglected. Starts first kick cold or warm. Has spark arrestor and kick stand installed, and comes with a carbon fiber glide plate. Last year of the steel frame that handles like a dream making it a great track or trail bike.
- Less than an hour on: new top end (.01mm oversize “B” piston) using only Japanese parts (Pro-X, Vesrah, etc.), new FMF pipe, new Yamaha petcock and fuel hose, power valve cleaned, fresh paint (frame off), all bearings cleaned and greased using Bel-Ray waterproof grease, air filter maintenance, fresh transmission oil, and new Pro Taper grips.
- 10 hours on: new Dunlop tires, new IRC heavy duty tubes, new forks seals & oil, shock maintenance to include oil, bumper, seal head, and nitrogen. New Twin Air air filter with Maxima air filter oil, new UFO OEM style plastic (in 1996 YZ color scheme), new graphics, new Pro Moto Billet kickstand, new Renthal bars, new RK MXZ4 gold chain, new Sunstar steel sprockets, stock carb rebuilt with genuine Keihin parts, and fresh coolant.
- Bike is stone cold reliable and has never let me down. Most YZ250’s are fast, but this bike has amazing bottom end power and super crisp throttle response…puts a smile on my face every time I ride it.
- Brand new Dunlop rear tire included with the bike even though the existing one is in great shape.
- Garaged its whole life; hand washed after every ride.
- I live in Prescott Valley and have a couple bikes…this was my seldom used “Tucson” trail bike that I used to ride with a friend who lived in Marana and has since moved to Illinois (who does that?) 🙄
- The bike was on its original showroom tires when I purchased it from the original owner. He added the GYTR/FMF spark arrestor, GYTR clutch cover, GYTR levers, GYTR exhaust pipe (not pictured, but included). Since I purchased it, I personally completed all maintenance along the way.
