APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

These positions are not guaranteed permanent jobs. Candidates must show up consistently, communicate professionally, work hard, understand apartment maintenance, and be a solid team player in order to remain on assignment and be considered for hire by the property.
AJ Employment Services is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in the Prescott (85301) area.
If you’re the type of person who would rather show your skills than sit through multiple interviews, this may be a good fit for you.
A lot of good maintenance technicians aren’t interested in jumping through hoops. They just want an opportunity to get to work and prove themselves.
That’s what we help facilitate.
Pay:
* $19–$20/hour with little to no experience
* $22–$23/hour with apartment maintenance experience
* Up to $24/hour for the right candidate
Responsibilities:
* Complete apartment turns and make readies
* Respond to maintenance work orders
* Minor plumbing repairs
* Basic electrical repairs
* General apartment and property maintenance
* Work on natural gas furnaces, stoves, and fireplaces (some familiarity required)
* Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the community
Requirements:
* Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
* Some familiarity with natural gas furnaces, stoves, and fireplaces
* HVAC certification not required (property uses window A/C units)
* Valid driver’s license required
* Reliable transportation required
* Must have your own basic hand tools
* Ability to work independently and stay productive
Required basic tools include:
* Screwdrivers
* Pliers
* Wrench set
* Channel locks
* Drill
* Basic hand tools used in apartment maintenance
