Seeking Barn Help/Manager - $1,000 (Prescott)

Located in the heart of Prescott AZ, we are a semi-private boarding and training barn. Lots of amenities, full arena and trail access. Multiple disciplines with an emphasis on horsemanship, colt starts and problem horses.
We have a range of horses in the barn, usually anywhere from 8-15 at a time.
Our ideal candidate would be feeding and caring for the horses AM and PM, 4-6 days a week. (Roughly 2-3ish hours a day)
Duties include but aren't limited to:
Giving hay and supplements, organizing feed schedules and needs of horses, cleaning stalls (we have a max of 8), sweeping tack rooms/barn isle, turning out or in horses, using the tractor to drag arenas and paddocks, administering basic first aid to horses, lifting large items on occasion, monitoring the property and horses...etc.
Attention to detail, good work ethic, team player attitude, problem solving, and of course animal lover is preferred.
We aren't just looking for an employee, but someone to join our barn "family". We are offering full board coverage for one horse ($550), can also offer training ($850), the potential for full hookups and paved spot for RV, travel trailer or 5th wheel (After a probation period, I've had too many people try to move in and then bail on responsibilities. I will consider exceptions if you have references and/or it's approved by barn owner) ($750) and of course pay if workload exceeds trade value.
This position is ideal for a student or person working part time elsewhere. We are flexible on hours and work, as long as it's within the range of our AM and PM feedings and care. We offer time off and vacations upon request, we are a "team" environment, and want to work with you as much as you want to work with us. This job is somewhat labor intensive, (it's horses, they are luxurious freeloaders) but we don't want to work you to the bone, and often I or my working students are at the barn to help.
