Coturnix Quail chicks hatched 01/12. Nearly 2 weeks old and already past the most fragile stage for quail chicks. They're all healthy active babies. All straight run (not sexed) right now. Quail start laying eggs and are easily sexed at around 8 weeks old unlike chickens that take 6 months or more. They're already starting to slowly wean off heat.
My flock is a mix of Celadon (blue layers) and Jumbo. I should have more chicks hatching 01/26.
