I have a large piece of light colored Burl Wood, approximately 36.6 pounds, and dry as a bone with absolutely no moisture. The center was drilled and there is a metal lining because this was used as a trophy stand.
Prices can range from $50 per pound for common burls to thousand dollars per pound for rare, high-quality specimens.
Based off of the $50 per pound, looks like about $1,800 worth of Burl Wood.
Approximate length is 24 inches and maybe 10-13 inches tall. The shape is pretty much a half circle type mound. I added pictures of the piece next to a standard basketball so you can understand the size.
