Each egg measures approximately 2-3/4" long x 1-3/4" tall. "Easter" and the year is glazed on the front of the egg and is part of the design. The back of the egg is die stamped with "Noritake", 1-39 edition, and Bone China. First year showed a bunny, and subsequent years alternated flowers and animals. This set comes with the original boxes, which are hard to find. Photo shown is 1981 edition, with a colt.
